Role:
In conjunction with the Technical Director and appropriate Business Executive, the role holder will develop the Company’s radar, sonar, communications and electronic warfare capabilities. Research and development will also be undertaken in these areas. The Signal Processing Expert will harness the existing skills across the Company and develop the capability whilst also identifying and executing risk reduction activities.
The Signal Processing Expert will provide managerial and technical support to other bids and projects as necessary.

Experience Required:
The role holder will need to be able to assume the responsibilities of a Project and Bid Manager. An expert status in field of signal processing and systems design is required with an excellent understanding of at least 2 of the following Defence areas: radar systems, in particular synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems, sonar, communications and electronic warfare.
A thorough understanding of digital signal processing in the Defence context is required with a good understanding of sensors and related systems.
A broad understanding of Defence sensor and surveillance systems and hands on experience of Defence related contracts is necesary.
Be eligible for a UK Security clearance at least to Security Check level.
